Your pet is our top priority. That’s why we designed our new client enrollment process to maintain a safe and healthy play environment.

All new clients must fill out our online enrollment questionnaire. This helps us collect essential information about your pup.

Once your pup is registered via our online portal, then we will schedule an evaluation day to determine if City Dogs is a good fit for your pooch.

2. Your favorite photo of your fur baby

3. Find time in your schedule for your pup to attend their evaluation day

At City Dogs, the health and safety of the dogs is our top priority. All dogs are carefully screened to ensure that they meet the following health and personality requirements:

Dogs must be over three months old

All dogs over seven months old must be neutered/spayed

Dogs must be at least 8 lbs

Dogs cannot be aggressive, nor overly fearful

Social, friendly dogs who enjoy being around other dogs and people

Healthy dogs: proof of current bordetella, rabies, and DHLPP vaccines required

No daycare while your dog recovers from any illness or injury

Schedule and pass your evaluation day of daycare- a drop off for daycare at the regular rate for daycare or buy a daycare package

An evaluation day allows us to observe your dog and determine if City Dogs is a good fit. You will receive a report card at the end of the day letting you know if your dog is eligible to continue coming to City Dogs for daycare and overnight boarding.

Most dogs pass our evaluation day of daycare, however some do not. We have a genuine love for dogs, however not all dogs are happy in or appropriate for dog daycare. While City Dogs can help build social skills, dogs must have enough social skills to play all day with all their canine and human friends. Some dogs can only play for short periods of time and may become agitated during extended play times. Dogs may also be choosey about their canine and human friends and may not accept all the other dogs or humans at daycare. Other dogs are overly anxious, protective of their personal space, or just prefer the quiet comfort of their own home. Whatever the reason, we will let you know if City Dogs is not an appropriate environment for your dog. This ensures that behavior incidents are kept to a minimum.
